Re began her dance training in RAD ballet tradition, and since has studied a wide variety of western and world-dance styles-- ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, college-step, African, Haitian, salsa, samba, kathak and bharatanatyam-- from some of the world’s foremost dancers. An alumnus of Community High School’s own CHS Dance Body, her additional dance training includes Interlochen Center for the Arts, Broadway Dance Center, BalletArts at New York City Center, Djoniba Dance Center and Kala Nivedanam.
In 2006 she founded the Bollywood West studio and dance company, shortly followed by the Miraas Aerial dance & acrobatics studio, both in Denver, Colorado.
Internationally recognized, largely due to her work with Bollywood West and NYC's Bollywood Axion, Re and her choreography have appeared on the red carpet for Slumdog Millionaire, performed for the Mayor of Denver, and were the first bollywood dance troupe to ever perform at NBA halftime and on center-field for Major League Baseball. Re's master classes and workshops remain in high-demand, regionally and nationwide, after being featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, and on MSNBC, and her choreography is being performed internationally as the finale dance number in the Up With People tour. She has choreographed and prepared dancers for auditions with So You Think You Can Dance, The PULSE Master Tour, and America’s Got Talent.
Dance being her preferred form of fitness and exercise, she enjoys teaching Zumba and FitBarre, because of their utilization of dance as fitness, and the escape from tedious typical gym workouts, for both her and her students.
